This isn't a condolence but a sweet story and I didn't know where else to put it.
Makena misses Papa so much. Even though she was only 2 years old when he left us she still asks about him often. A month ago she was playing on her princess cell phone and was talking to Papa. She asked him if he was having fun in heaven and asked if he had a big house. She then handed the phone to me and I had a hard time holding it together when she said "Mommy, Papa wants to say hi." It was so precious.
Yesterday 11/4 we had some clouds in the sky in the morning on our way to bible study and out of the blue she asked, "Mommy does Papa live right there in that cloud?" Oh it was so sweet. She then had questions about why he's in heaven and why the doctors couldn't fix him. I just told her that I didn't know all the answers but we won't ever forget Papa and he is waiting in heaven for us so we will see him again someday.
We wish we could be celebrating with him on his birthday tomorrow.
My deepest sympathy to Tony's family. We were classmates, friends and graduated from Velva High. It is times like this we realize how short life is here . Tony lived life to the fullest. Hold on to the good memories and let his light shine on forever.
